Apples We Grow
Here at The Little Farmer we grow 19 different varieties of apples. Beginning in early August through the end of October, we harvest a selection of apples for your eating or baking pleasure.
The Apple House
This quaint building houses the main salesroom,bakery, caramel apple kitchen, refrigeration equipment and the apple grading area where the apples are washed, sorted on our new computerized Integra sizing machine, visually inspected and then bagged.
About The Little Farmer
This land was purchased by Louis Beyer in 1866 from the government. His son, Charles Beyer, took over in 1886 and built the big barn and current house around 1890. The house took two years and three men to build.
Map & Directions
We're a seasonal farm selling the apples and pumpkins that we grow from early August through the end of November. We are a Festive Family Farm Market in the business of growing good things for you.
The Apple Harvest
Throughout the course of the season The Little Famer hosts numerous weekend events from food stands to live bands. We also offer hayrides, corn maze, U-Pick Apples & Pumpkins, and a playground for the little ones.

A Festive Family Orchard & Farm Market

The Bakery
We bake fresh daily so you will understand that when you enter the Apple House, YOU WILL SMELL SOME WONDERFUL STUFF!

Apple House
This charming building is where you can take a peek into the grading room, the bakery, taste and buy apples and see the large inventory of specialty foods and unique gift items.

School Tours
Children from schools and daycares within 70 miles come for our great tour program offered in September and October. It's a fun and educational experience for the students, teachers and chaperones.
