Caramel Apples

Caramel apple.Another special treat available at our farm is a fresh dipped caramel apple. They come in two sizes: regular and jumbo. One of our staff will skewer the apple, dunk it into the hot caramel, spin it a little and then press it into a topping of your choice: chopped peanuts, coconut, sunflower seeds, chocolate covered sunflower seeds, sprinkles or heath bar. It is sure to be a face-gooey experience.

Or, if you would like, we will place the apple into a slicer that cores and cuts the apple into eight pieces, drizzle caramel over the apple and then, spoon on the topping(s) of your choice. Then you can eat the apple with a fork or fingers.

Either way, you'll love it!

On weekdays, caramel apples are made inside the Apple House salesroom. On weekends from mid-September through October, look for the signs that direct you to the "Caramel Apple Barn." This is located in the lower level of the big barn below the Craft Barn. This area can accommodate the larger number of people who visit our farm on the weekends. This area, by the way, used to contain the horses' stalls way back when.
